The 2018 Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge

Every year, Holy Name students participate in the annual Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge. During 2017, 198 enthusiastic students registered for the Challenge, reading an impressive 4,052 books! Reading is an essential life skill and at Holy Name, we encourage families to be actively involved in the Challenge each year. The Challenge will be open to all students from Prep to Year 6 again this year. Please check the newsletter for commencement dates. As an incentive to students  this year, each student will gain points for their House if they register for the Challenge (10 points) as well as receive an additional 10 points when they complete the Reading Challenge! There is an ‘Honour’ board (on the staircase walls of the ILC) which featured the names of all students who complete the Challenge.  During Term 4, students receive a certificate of participation and have their name  published on the online Honour Roll on the below website (if their permission form is returned).
